Bay of Fires Pinot Gris 2024

A halo of nashi pear and green pear skin, some coconut water freshness and a slippery acid line. There is a talc like powdery sensation that fills in the outlines making for a texture expression without the bitterness. Because of this sandy texture, ripe pear and tree fruit  it correctly is labelled Gris but the crispness and clear cut nature of the wine means Grigio drinkers could easily find joy here too. A prawn, chilli and lemon butter linguine would be ideal here. Drink now or pop in the cellar for a further 3 years.
