Yangarra Estate Vineyard Rosé 2020

Share

Grenache is a grape variety that is well suited to making quality rosé, thanks to its savoury underbelly. And in the expert hands of Peter Fraser, you know it is going to be good. This rosé is more understated than most so don’t drink it too cold, or you’ll miss half the fun.

The wine is a very pretty, pale salmon pink colour and shows wild raspberry fruits under which you can also discover touches of dried herb, meat and spice. It is quite full-bodied making for a food-friendly style but is probably still a little shy and could do with another two or three months to hit its straps. It would be a beautiful match with a charcuterie platter.
