A wine with a clear flavour profile upfront delivers peach melba, butter toast and drizzles of honey. There is white frangipani, lemon pith and the blue river stone that depicts the cool reaches of the Adelaide Hills. Whilst the palate is round, ripe and filled with crumpets, smears of Western Star and lemon buttercream. A hint of hazelnut, nutmeg and cinnamon dust. This accurately administers the richness and flavour it promises, with a snuggly comforting kind of finish. Ideal with a three cheese toastie, melted in the pan with lashings of butter to get the bread good and golden!
