Bec Hardy Silver Princess Coonawarra Cabernet 2022

The team at Bec Hardy offer a number of wines made from Coonawarra Cabernet and this is certainly a pleasing inclusion to the range. The colour here is dark purple. The aromas include plums, aniseed, blackcurrants and tobacco leaves with gentle hints of cassis. This is a nicely refined style, mid length, well structured, with soft tannins but certainly some deceptive grip as well. It will offer pleasure over the next half decade, but well cellared bottles will undoubtedly go longer. Good value.
