Bekkers Grenache 2020

Share

A more elegant and restrained vintage of Grenache from Toby and Emmanuelle Bekkers in 2020 with red fruits the order of the day. There is superb purity to the aromas as red licorice and cherry are supported by a dusting of spices. It’s unusually aromatic and lifted for the variety, with almost Pinot-like delicacy. Beautifully supple, Middle Eastern spices rise up again over red fruits underscored by lightish tannins which provide a long and silky finish. It’s dangerously easy to drink and well suited to enjoy over the short to medium term.
