Bekkers McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon 2024

Share

This vintage is entirely sourced from the Bekkers Clarendon Vineyard Estate. Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with around 14% Cabernet Franc. Familiar and yet tailored and immaculate with cassis and blackcurrant on the vine, red gum, crushed black volcanic soil and ink pot. Once again this oozes with juicy acidity and the plushness of super fine powdery tannins. Quite astonishing just how utterly drinkable this is now, but the mind biggles at what it will do with 8, 10, 15 years of age. A phenomenal wine and not for the Vale but the world over. A succulent slice of brisket is all that is needed here.
