An upscale release out of the Beklyn vineyard in South Australia’s southern coastal Currency Creek region. This goes big from the outset, not surprising given its 15.5% abv measure. It’s all about compote of ripe dark berries and dark chocolate, all its parts evenly set with a subtle charry background. Big and cuddly, warm and woolly coated in its tannin profile, there’s a hearty wintry presence to its personality.
