Ben Glaetzer Anaperenna Shiraz Cabernet 2020

Share

2020 was the last of three dry vintages in the Barossa which has delivered wines with serious intensity of bold and robust fruits. Full-throttle wine fans should stock up on this example which is deeply coloured, and delivers opulent aromas of blackberry, chocolate and blackcurrant laced with sweet vanilla oak. The palate takes on a more savoury feel with dark berries joined by pepper and dried oregano. It’s fresh but firm too with a backbone of dense well-matched tannins delivering a long and strong finish. Give it a couple of years to settle before enjoying with char-grilled steak.
