Strawberry melds with white pepper and a stemmy, herbaceousness to start, followed by red cherry and baked plum. The palate is lifted and bright, driven by red fruits and spice. Red plum, strawberry, red currant and white pepper are wrapped up in a firm lick of chalky tannins providing some nice carry to medium length. Not a complex wine, but nice freshness, vibrancy and drinkability here. Good drinking at the price point.
