Beresford Grand Reserve Shiraz 2018 

Deep in colour with an equally deep nose, the wine stains the glass and releases intense aromas of açaí berries, blueberries, mulberries, and blue plums. Notes of turned red earth weave through the bouquet, lifted by pungent accents of cracked black pepper and cloves that keep the nose alert. On the palate, there’s ample flesh and luxurious fruit supported by an alluring mix of spices, vanillin, cardamom, and more, wrapped around a bloody, ferrous core that adds a new dimension. It’s a Grand Reserve with a striking display of oak, which still holds centre stage.
