This is a timely reminder that Cabernet Merlot is still very much a thing and a good thing it is, too. Those Cabernet herbals and black fruits mix and meld so deliciously well with Merlot floral aromatics, red berries and spice. In between, the regional notes sing, especially that Aussie bush feel with just a few subtle bay leaves on show. Fine tannins guide the wine and the result is an elegance that you not only wish for, but is very real to taste.
