Blue Pyrenees Section One Shiraz 2017

Share

You have got to love Victorian Shiraz. It has got the power of South Australia and then with a delicious savoury, spicy edge, as seen in this Blue Pyrenees Section One Shiraz. Section One is the oldest patch of vines at Blue Pyrenees, which are now over forty years of age, and the wine shows the benefits of old vine Shiraz. it is deeply coloured with mulberry, earth, granite and spicy fruit matched with some sweet oak. It is not a massive wine, more medium-bodied and shows serious concentration and length, with some good structural tannins. It is a crowd pleaser that has the quality to get even better over time in the bottle.
