From an acre of old shiraz vines, the vineyard is known as the ‘CBD’ or the ‘House Block’, coming from the heart of the Coonawarra township. Deep dark colour. This offers earth, chocolate, plums, truffles, dry herbs, blackberries, tar and more. Some cherry notes. Supple texture, though there are slightly firmer tannins than to be found with the Family Reserve. Mouthcoating. This is a wine with a great future.
