The GI/Regional indicator of ‘Adelaide’ accounts for 15% of the blend being Muscat Blanc à Petit Grains from the Barossa Valley and 85% Sauvignon Blanc from the Adelaide Hills. Why not meet half way in the middle? Green and yellow melon and passionfruit pulp dominate the nose, with herbal tobacco leaf, churned cream, honey, snow pea and yellow cherry tomato that is fresh, bright and zippy. The Muscat gives a roundness and sweetness to striking, yet leafy SB fruit. Salivating acidity and a crisp finish make this a summertime winner.
