Brave Souls Barossa Shiraz 2020

Share

An interesting little collaboration here between German-born winemaker Julia Weirich and the team behind Sons of Eden, with the SOE stamp writ large. Deeply coloured, it is a generous upfront Barossan expression with luscious fruit and sweet toasted coconut scented oak. It’s made to impress and it does a good job at that. The full-bodied palate then shows rich liqueur cherry and jammy fruits, and has retained good shape before old oak and supple tannins come through on the finish. An honest Barossa red at a good price.
