Bremerton Special Release Malbec 202

Share

Malbec has a well-earned affinity with Langhorne Creek, often awarded the region’s highest honours. This singular varietal from a refined block selection, matured in barrel on its own spent yeast lees, results in a mid-weight textural feel that supports an otherwise fragrant front-up style, classically Malbec in its blue-floral lift, violets being the key, and also a flowering wattle-like spiciness. A good depth of dark berry flavour and pepperiness fills in the palate’s pleasure centre. Suits hearty meats with a rich sauce.
