Brown Brothers Patricia Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

This is big, bold, unapologetically Victorian Cabernet at its finest. Blackberries, black cherries and marshmallows toasting on a campfire start the experience. A little time in the glass rewards with aromas of violets, and dark chocolate. After splashing into a decanter, the exotic earthy, floral tones of leatherwood honey join the fray. Stunning depth and concentration in the mouth are enhanced by an unexpected elegance. At 13.5% alcohol by volume, the richness is beautifully balanced. Full bodied and silky with fruits of the forest, sweet, spicy tobacco leaf and dried porcini mushrooms. A long finish is wrapped in fine tannins that carry a slight pencil shaving rasp.
