Aromas of plump black cherries, blackberries and black currants mingle with Biscoff spices and dark chocolate. A hint of eucalyptus and iron rich red soil places us firmly in Australia, with fruit sourced from vineyards across Bendigo, the Yarra Valley and the Big Valley. There’s luscious flavour intensity without losing elegance; and a beautifully balanced 13.5% alcohol. The tannins are fine and chalky. At just on 4 years old, it is still looking remarkably youthful and will most certainly reward aging. Drink with slow-roasted lamb shoulder, minted peas and parsnip puree.
