Burton McMahon D’Aloisio Vineyard Chardonnay 2024

There are some intriguing aromas to this citrus driven wine, pomelo and lemon pith is dotted with lemongrass, fennel bulb and ginseng. Talc powder and summer breeze, the wineries attractive in all senses of the word. Some kefir creaminess, moves into almond and polenta savouriness. It is zesty and pure with some curves that provide pleasure on its release but will continue to layer in detail with further cellaring, another 3-6 years ideally. A Chardonnay you would be happy to drink from brunch till after hours. Try this with tempura battered enoki mushrooms.
