Cape Mentelle Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

Plenty to like here. It’s all ready to go now should you wish and, if you do, you will discover a delicious, fruit forward style replete in ripe, sweet black berries, dark cherry and red plum fruits. Fruit is the thing, the centrepiece, accompanied by background briar, crushed herbs and woody spice. Juicy and well composed with some handy concentration, there’s definitely plenty of flesh on these bones. The sweet fruit presence carries through impressively. Should you wish to cellar before opening, it won’t say no.
