The 2022 vintage shows some primary ripe rambutan and black cherries. Boysenberry swirls ripple through the five spice and strong star anise underlay. This is quite potent and draws you in with its bold fruit and pools of paprika dust. Tannins here are dusty but drying and acidity although steep and rising carries with it the power of robust berries. This rewards you with generosity and loads of Chianti character. It is for drinking now and short to mid term cellar, think 3-4 years but open today and you will be deeply satisfied. Drink with Texas brisket and corn of the cob.
