Chain of Ponds Cachet Pinot Noir 2023

Share

An impressive light-bodied but intense and complex Pinot that comes fruit 3 different clones, with 25% whole bunch and maturation in the large format 500l puncheons, of which half was new. The bright fruits of red cherry and strawberry emerge immediately with a sprinkle of spice and a subtle mushroomy complexity. The palate is structured with fine, sinewy tannins, and that fine-grained oak cradles it through to a very long and precisely focused finish. Best in the short term.
