Château Tanunda The Château Shiraz 2020

Chateau Tanunda have made great leaps ahead in recent years with wines that are not only full of flavour but also with a good deal of subtlety and style. Here is a good example which shows the youthful appeal of the 2020 vintage. Opaque ruby in colour, it is bursting with jubey, fruit pastille aromas with a dusting of peppery spice and toasty oak sitting just behind. It’s then generous and supple on the palate, the fruit already singing while the tannins are soft and enveloping before a lingering finish. Enjoy with lamb rissoles.
