A solid step up here showing some cooler Bethany characters which are adding detail and vitality with an attractive mix of sweet and savoury. Tar, granite and cocktail olive are well supported by gravel and blackberry aromas plus coffee grounds oak. Compact and tannic, it then displays a firm core with shape and tension lifted by a strong rocky minerality which together provide quite a sturdy feel. That minerality then lingers which provides an engaging, multi-layered finish.
