Churchview Limited Release Grenache Shiraz Mataro 2023

The famous Rhône blend might be a style that rarely ventures outside regions such as McLaren Vale and the Barossa in this country, but it continues to evolve. Some of the best Grenache we have seen recently has come from Western Australia, something that surprised us all. Get on board. A vibrant magenta hue with a ruby rim, the nose is very much red fruits. We have bright cherries, plums, cranberries, dried herbs, raspberries and florals. An exuberant nose, the palate follows the theme. There is a fine line of acidity, and the wine has very good length. It is balanced throughout and finishes with powdery tannins. So much to love here. This is a ten-year proposition.
