There are few wines as structured, balanced and poised as this for around $16. Open-top fermentation with regular plunging and pump over has brought life and energy into the wine coupled by its 12 months in a mix of puncheons and barriques, of which 15% were new. Bright and vibrant aromas of spicy black pepper, dark fruits and minerally tannins. The seamless palate weave creates such smooth and effortless mouthfeel. This is the type of wine I recommend when you’re looking to stock up for the winter ahead. Great value.
