Another cracking good Shiraz from this Dixon’s Creek vineyard in what was an excellent year. It’s a cool climate medium-bodied wine, yet the extended maceration of 60 days has developed structure while retaining its vibrant energy. Intense dark fruits on the nose with a subtle spicy licorice combination. The palate is bright and concentrated but delivered with refined poise and restraint. An elegantly crafted wine.
