Clandestine Vineyards Margaret River Malbec 2019

This is sourced from Karridale south of Margaret River, so the cooler climate fruit in what was a cooler season is significant. This is a variety on which Clandestine believe they will hang their hat on the future as the variety for Margaret Rivet. It’s bright and energetic almost on the palate. The colour is bright reddy crimson. Chalky tannins and cherry plum characters provide such perfumes and aromatics. Just a little back palate grip adds to the structure and poise.
