Crabtree Estate Grenache Shiraz 2023

Share

The Clare Valley is certainly no one-trick Riesling pony when you account for its capacities with regionally distinctive Shiraz and also a surprising swag of Grenache around the district. The latter variety here is from old bush vines on a western estate block, while the Shiraz comes off a cooler eastern block. They were made for each other in this case, juicy red fruits to the fore, a fleshiness that looks like an estate character, and neatly mid-weighted for palate ease and desirable table manners. Drinkability assured.
