Nicely pitched ripeness here in pear fruits, pear skin, apple and citrus with a splash of spice. Fermentation took place in old French oak puncheons followed by five months on lees. The effect on flavour and texture is impressive. The palate is supple and fleshy, packed in ripe fruits with an intriguing hint of the tropical and well balanced by acidity. There’s a touch of sweetness with the creaminess, but overall it remains clean and super fresh to close.
