Curtis Family Vineyards Ancestor Shiraz 2022

Share

Sourced from 100 year old Mclaren Vale vines and given a full suite of traditional winemaking treatments including 24 months in a range of French and American oak barrels, which unsurprisingly offer their influence into this Shiraz to the tune of vanilla and coconut and Bounty milk chocolate notes. Within this coating there still stirs the heart of its sweet Shiraz fruit, more black in nature than red, with a fair swag of oak-derived tannins to tense up the finish. Old school styling for those who love a bolder delivery.
