The warmer Barossa is ideal for this Rhone variety. The aromas of honeysuckle are distinctive with a slightly lemon character emerging. It’s been treated with kid gloves and goes only into stainless steel. So, it is fresh and pure with a delightful zing in the mouth to offset the richer deeper characters of this variety. I like this style of Roussanne which can be great current drinking or well suited to cellaring.
