Domaine Chavy-Chouet Bourgogne Les Femelottes 2022

I love the progression of the intensity of the bouquet, starting with all the fragrance of white flowers like hawthorn, followed by the crunchiness of Kazi red apples, the juiciness of mandarins, the pulpiness of nectarines, the tropical medley of pineapple and guava, to conclude with the light toastiness of pine nuts and blanched almonds. The palate has an intriguing concentration of fruity and sweet spice flavours, a decent presence that translates into a mid-palate weight and a good aromatic length. It is a midway between “sunshine in the glass” and French savoury class.
