Domaine Naturaliste Rachis Syrah 2023

Share

50% whole bunches and matured in 500L puncheons for 10 months. A sexy little spiced Syrah with plenty of complexity from the added bunch work. It’s clear that winemaking is deliberate and well thought out for the condition of the fruit that enters from the vineyard. Here you’ll find bramble, boysenberry, wild raspberries and black fig. Fine sandy tannins with flicks of prosciutto and cured ham. There is a juniper and bay leaf spice that extend the flavours, long and wide. A very smart looking wine. Serve with peppered pork chops and earthy root vegetables.
