Dominque Roger Domaine du Carrou Sancerre 2020

Share

A warmer vintage in the Loire Valley has crafted Sancerres that are beautifully approachable but still carrying the fine detail that have made this region a world leader for Sauvignon Blanc. Bright mid straw in colour, it slowly releases subtle wintergreen aromas underpinned by green melon and green apple fruits with attractive elegance. The palate follows with finesse at every turn – bright acidity and chalky fruits to start before subtle guava and passionfruit round it out with earth and baking spices. Enjoy with a prawn cocktail.
