Dowie Doole G&T Grenache Tempranillo 2022

Whilst a ‘G&T’ might conjure up thoughts of a different drink, here it stands for Grenache and Tempranillo. Sourced from McLaren Vale, the blend is 70% Grenache and 30% Tempranillo. Cherry red in colour, this is fresh, bright and full of both energy and flavour. Raspberries, cherries and florals are to the fore whilst hints of a pleasant mushroomy note sneak in. There is refreshing acidity here and a lingering finish. Fine tannins in a delicious and attractive drink, which is good value. Enjoy it over the next five to six years.
