Dowie Doole The Architect Blewitt Springs Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Share

This is a wow on a number of levels but, mostly, it screams CLASS! Attention is grabbed with those solid, dark purple hues. Offers up tightly focused aromas of spice, plum, black fruits, dried herbs and acacia, bay leaf and earth. This is a wine with a strong sense of place, you can feel the abundance of ripe fruit, the notes of dried herbs, discreet bay leaf/menthol and earth which are intrinsically associated with Blewitt Springs, together with an overall smooth, silky tannin glide. The lick of florals and sweet black fruits and aniseed up front on the palate is a delight. The 2021 vintage was a top year. It brings forth a wine of real class.
