Driftwood Margaret River Artifacts Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Share

No denying the grape variety here nor, for that matter, the sense of place. It is immediately, resolutely Margaret River Cabernet from the lush black fruited intensity to the ever-present herbal presence. And then there’s the centrepiece, that rich vein of acacia, bush mint, black pepper that courses through the wine. The generosity of flavour is countered by quite a firm presence of sinewy tannins which comes to a halt fast. It could benefit from more time in bottle if you are of a mind.
