Feudio Arancio Nero d’Avola 2017

Share

Southern Italy is one of the hottest wine regions on the planet right now as the local wines are finally getting recognised for their unique character and quality.

This is an old school Sicilian red wine showcasing the baking heat from Southern Italy and Nero d’Avola’s bold style. It’s deeply coloured with some plump mulberry and liquorice fruit plus some earthy, spicy Mediterranean complexity. There are also some soft although slightly rustic tannins that give it the backbone to match up well with a lamb casserole.
