Fishbone Black Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Matured for 14 months in 30% new French oak. A familiar and yet alluring wine with hearty notes of blackberries, cassis and shiso mint. Old school cinnamon, clove and graphite spice. This is melting into its skin with rustic charm and a driving line of acidity. Tannins are sturdy and prop up some of the black cherries, but with the dense potting soil and under foot of a dark forest floor. This will continue to unfurl its spice box and drink well now and for another 6-8 years. Think seared steaks and Diane sauce for the win.
