I generally get the ick when people use the term “pizza wine”, but then again, some wines, like this Shiraz, Grenache, Viognier blend, just scream for something extra tomato-y. Orange peel, raspberry liquorice and cumin spice. It feels friendly and supportive. In the mouth, it’s sinewy and vibrant. Not one to overcomplicate. Just enjoy it. Serve with a slight chill and your favourite topping.
