Foreign Friends Savagnin 2025

Share

An edible wine that invokes peach, fresh apricots and honeysuckle. Some kernel and candlenut ground into a mortar and pestle. There is a wealth of spice too, galangal, ginger and nutmeg. The palate is surprisingly more concentrated than expected and delights with its tropical fruit energy and laser focus acidity. This has so many possibilities on a dining table, from sipping alone, to saffron and seafood paella, roast chook or with slabs of gouda cheese on crackers. A wonderful way to explore Savagnin and the cool reaches of Victoria. Drink now or within 3-5 years.
