The Sardinians would approve. Speaks the language of Vermentino combining the savoury and mineral with a fruit-driven freshness. A Strathbogies cool climate briskness of acidity works well to bring out the lemon citrus, Asian pear, apple, herb and wildflower characters of the grape enlivened by a perky saline minerality and bitter almond savouriness. Gets the tastebuds working and the quince-like tartness to close is super tangy. One of the more serious Aussie examples of Vermentino.
