Gaelic Cemetery McAskill Cabernet Malbec 2021

Dark maroon colour. Notes of chocolate, black fruits, plums and cassis oozing forth. This is still very young and has a cracking future. The wine is in perfect balance and there is considerable length here, leading to soft tannins on the finish. The lingering conclusion keeps those fruit notes to the fore for the moment, though no doubt the secondary flavours will emerge. Very attractive, it will drink impressively over the next six to ten years. There will be no buyer’s regret if you have a case or two of this in your cellar in a decade.
