George’s Folly Blanc 2024

Share

Made from 60% Sauvignon Gris (a clonal mutation of Sauvignon Blanc), 30% Chardonnay, and 10% Roussanne. This was an easy wine to like, as the charming aromas of lemon, fresh honeysuckle and jasmine leapt from the glass, with some added depth of green pepper and grass. It has an oily texture like Viognier while its aromas and flavours liken it more to Sauvignon Blanc; however you want to classify it, it’s a very nice wine with a lovely mouthfeel, zippy acid and zingy minerality.
