Gill Estate Gentle Giant Shiraz 2024

Deep maroon, with a russet rim, this wine opens up in the glass if you can give it some time. The nose offers notes of plums, spices, coffee grinds, dark cherries and mild chocolate with hints of herbs. Medium weight with supple tannins, it really needs a touch more length to go to the next level, but provides pleasant flavours throughout and, at this price, exceeds expectations. Enjoy over the next four to six years.
