Gioiello Estate Jack Pinot Noir 2020

This rather thrilling Pinot is from a mix of Abel and Pommard clones, gently destemmed into open top fermenters before a wild fermentation and then racking to French oak barriques for maturation on lees. Vibrant maroon, this is an alluring Pinot Noir with undergrowth notes. Root vegetables, black cherries, freshly unearthed beetroot and dry herbs. A savoury style with supple tannins and excellent length with good early complexity, this will provide some serious pleasure over the next six to eight years.
