Greenock Creek Durif 2020

Share

Bright deep ruby and as you would expect from Barossa Valley Durif and Greenock Creek, it is a big style but not too big. Lashings of plum compote, plum jam and classic Durif new leather with savoury caramel oak aromas adding impact. A dry and full-bodied palate follows with fleshy raisin and blackberry fruits underscored by powdery tannins although the finish is generally soft and supple with pleasing length. It’s an early drinking style well suited to classic burgers, with the lot.
