Greenock Creek Jaensch Block Shiraz 2019

Share

Bright opaque ruby before launching into a full throttle example of the Barossa that is dense, unctuous and built for the cellar. Brooding aromas of chocolate, blackberry, cherry liqueur, tar and earth to start which which are concentrated but also reserved – this wine is built to last. The palate continues along the same vein with inky concentration and focused fruit showing both power and detail. A muscular structure and caramel oak completes the package and showcase a wine that, while delicious now, will get even better with time in the bottle.
