GUM Gaz Gamay Shiraz Harcourt North 2023

Share

100% whole bunch Gamay and 50/50 whole bunch/whole berry Shiraz grown on granitic sand at 400 metres on Mount Alexander. Morello cherry, blackberry, blueberry, salted meat, and pepper on the nose. Lovely fruit and spice on a medium bodied palate – blackberry, black cherry, pepper, and a cooling slatey mineral undertone. Firm-but-fine grainy tannins kick through the palate tightening up the fruit before a juicy, berry driven close. Bright and fresh with a lovely melding of fruit and savoury spice.
